Wednesday Night Worship
We gather as a community for worship at 8 PM every Wednesday night classes are in session. In our campus ministry everything flows from worship as we unify our voices, hearts, and minds as one community in praise of God. Worship is held upstairs in our campus ministry building, so please come join us anytime! Women’s Ministry Our Women’s Ministry seeks to nurture the women of our campus ministry in their walk with Christ through “Ladies Nights,” Women’s Retreat, various women's groups, and through other avenues of ministry that foster spiritual development for women. Men’s Ministry Our Men's Ministry is focused on gathering guys together so they can grow in the Lord through our “Man Nights,” Men’s Retreat, various men's groups, and other ways that encourage the men of our campus ministry in their faith journey. Prayer Ministry Prayer is at the core of our campus ministry as each week we lift up prayer requests during our Monday Night Prayer and Praise gathering. Each semester we also celebrate our "27 Hours of Prayer" event where we diligently and creatively offer ourselves to the Lord with 27 hours of continuous prayer. |
Discipleship-Community Groups
(D-Com Groups) D-Com Groups are weekly small group gatherings of men or women for spiritual growth, mutual support, exploring God’s word, and prayer. D-Com groups meet throughout the week. Worship Arts We want to identify, welcome, and utilize the distinctive creative talents and giftedness of our community in order to reveal the magnificent love of God through various avenues of artistic expression in worship (dance, painting, drama, video, etc.). Music Ministry Music is a powerful expression that we use to celebrate our Lord and usher people into the presence of God. Whether is at our Wednesday Night Worship gatherings, spiritual renewal retreats, mission trips, worship teams at local churches, or other campus ministry events, music is everywhere at Wesley. Tech Team Our Tech Team serves “behind the scenes,” primarily coordinating our sound, lights, and media utilized in worship, retreats, and other events. Communications Communication is key in helping Wesley and others one the campuses we serve be aware of upcoming events in order to generate participation and excitement. If you love utilizing social media, photography, and graphic design to communicate to others then please let us know as we always need help! |
Outreach
At Wesley we want to show the love of Christ through extending our ministry to campus, Boone, and beyond. Through our Outreach Ministry we engage in on-campus outreach events, local service projects, and other missional opportunities that are both short term and ongoing (like our student food pantry). Hospitality We want everyone to feel welcome and at home at all Wesley events and activities, so our hospitality folks ensure that those who come to Wesley know that we want them to be a part of our community and our journey with God. Connections Our Connection Team has an enthusiastic heart for new students and want those students to have greater relational connections across our ministry. This team follows up with visitors, meets up with new students, and hosts gatherings that help others plug-in to Wesley in a meaningful way. Intramural Sports Wesley is involved in almost every intramural sport on campus at ASU. Through our intramural teams we hope to have fun together, encourage good sportsmanship, and be a positive Christian witness on the athletic field as we reach out to campus. |
