WARM NC mobilizes volunteers and contractors to make urgent, safety and health-related repairs for low-income homeowners in Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender counties.

$150 Registration Includes:

• 5 days & 4 nights in Wilmington, NC
• ​Accommodations at Grace United Methodist Church - 401 Grace Street
  • ​You will need a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, bath towel & washcloth, beach towel, work clothes, lounge clothes, bathing suit.
• Most Meals (will be detailed later)
• Times of worship, retreat, missions, along with fun & games!
• A retreat that will bless you, our community, and the mission that we share together!

WHAT IS THIS TRIP ALL ABOUT?
The Fall Retreat is a time to take a mid-semester break, enjoy getting back into community with one-another, and sharing the hands-and-feet of Christ through missions.
WHERE WILL WE BE GOING?

• Wilmington, NC
• WARM NC (Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry)

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?

• Worship, Games, and Mission
• Scope of work varies rebuild to rebuild. Typical repairs include floors repair, heating/air conditioning, window/door repair, and wheelchair ramp construction.
• Volunteer days start at 9am and end at 3pm unless otherwise confirmed with our volunteer coordinator. You will meet on site, and a field supervisor will be with you throughout the day to assist in training and instruction.
• Sunday Day at the Beach

TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

• 11th - Friday:
  Depart for Wilmington (when classes are completed for the day) 
• 12th - Saturday:
  9am-3pm, Volunteer with WARM NC
  Recap the Day, Dinner, Games, and Hangout
• 13th - Sunday:
  Worship
  Day at the Beach
• ​14th - Monday:
  9am-3pm, Volunteer with WARM NC
  Recap the Day, Dinner, Games, and Hangout
• 15th - Tuesday:
  Depart for Boone
